Born on January 15, 1934, in Galloway, West Virginia, Margaret touched the lives of countless individuals through her warmth, kindness, and unwavering optimism.
Margaret, affectionately known to her loved ones as Mardie, was a nurturing and optimistic soul whose passion for music and teaching left an indelible mark on the hearts of her students. With a master's degree and an inspiring career as a teacher in Greenhills, Forest Park, and Winton Woods schools, she had a remarkable ability to inspire a love for music through melodies and encouragement which resonated deeply with her pupils. When Mardie wasn't in the classroom, she found joy in her many hobbies, including reading, gardening, and birdwatching-activities that resonated with her love for nature.
